(Top: Moose sausage making and pickled green beans) (Bottom: Salmon and berry-picking)
Though I have posted pictures of this phenomenon elsewhere, I have yet to share it with whomever may read my blog. Jamie has been busy with what seems to be a never-ending array of harvesting and I am so thankful for him and proud of his initiative and desire to engage in these activities. The madness began earlier this summer with processing all of our fish from dipnetting, with berry picking and jam making following close behind, moved into pickling of garlic and home grown green beans (soon to be followed by greens and potatoes), followed by liquers (and possibly syrup soon), and has moved into an attempt at sausage making which was pretty successful. I am guessing that these ventures will last into this month before they are satisfactory. I know I have more pictures so as I come across them I will try to post them
