summer time

School has ended and thankfully the sun has continued to shine.SUmmer school starts today but we wont have any kids until tomorrow. Then it will be three days a week until the end of July with a one week break around the 4th. I have successfully completed the Praxis exam and finished all the forms for school and now I am just waiting to hear if I will be accepted or not, though I am pretty sure I will be. I don't anticipate having a final answer until probably the end of June. After I hear I will be starting classes to obtain my teaching credential with a special education endorsement. There will be a lot of changes for the next school year that are making me a little anxious and right now I am  considering whether or not I should apply for a teaching position even without my certification. I know that sometimes you are allowed to teach even without your certificate if the school district knows, and if you can prove, that you are in the process of obtaining your certification. Apparently the district has someone in mind for our classroom next year and although the position officially closes today, I think that even if I turn in an application later in the summer I might still have a chance at it. I just have to decide if I am ready to take that step at this point or not. Jamie has yet to find steady employment but has thankfully been able to find a lot of side jobs until then and we have continued to stay afloat. Other than that, nothing too exciting which would probably explain my lack of posting. Summer is almost officially here so I am sure there will be more things to post about.
