I am such a lucky girl. My husband made me an amazing cake and birthday dinner and my present was beyond expected (as I didn't really want, need, or expect anything) My present was an upgrade to my wedding ring, much to my complete shock and surprise. The wedding band stayed the same but the ring is completely different; thinner band and a much larger stone. I would have never guessed. I love it and can't stop looking at it. It's like being engaged all over again :) I wouldn't have changed my wedding set for anything in the world before and I could never imagine anything better than what I have now. I truly have the best husband in the world.
In other news, I have turned in my application to teach summer school this year and should know more about that this month. We have started the paperwork on loan pre-approval for a home to see how much we would qualify or so we can start looking more seriously at some places we have in mind. The adoption paperwork has been sent back to the ex and will hopefully be finalized within the next few months. Not really sure how long this whole process is supposed to take but we finally figured out why she might have all the sudden been in a hurry to have it completed. We will see what this year brings. Jamie came home for his first two weeks home. A nice change from the 3 and 1 schedule but next time he is home he will definitely have to be more diligent about finding work while he is home next. We got a foot of snow yesterday. Don't know if there is more to come. Definitely excited for this to be the last week of school before spring break
