As the holidays approached we made our trip to Arizona to celebrate Christmas with my sister. After days of being delayed, I finally made it to Phoenix. Christmas Day was spent opening presents and eating from Sonic which was the only place we could find open that day. The next day after helping my sister do the initial prep work for dinner, Jamie and I took a trip to Prescott to wander the mall and the downtown area before returning to a wonderful meal. The next day we took the kids and hung out at my sister's work for awhile, playing round after round of ski-ball and other arcade games. After spending a few days in Prescott with my sister's family we decided to take a trip to the Grand Canyon. We stayed in the small town of Williams, AZ (the above picture is in a brewery there where we met the most awesome bartender) The Grand Canyon was only an hour from Williams and we spent a beautiful day wandering and exploring the canyon as it was Jamie's first time there. The sunny day made up for the inches of snow that were on the ground and provided a beautiful setting.
