Spent a wonderful afternoon in Anchorage with the family at the annual Food and Gift Festival and, with the holidays rapidly approaching, there will be a few more of these activities to attend. It was nice to just get out of the house and even make a few good Christmas purchases. After wandering around for a few hours, we went to the pet store on our way home and spent time in the bird section, holding them and getting to know some of them so my mother-in-law could find one that she wanted to take home new cockatiel (hers passed a way a few months ago) Then it was back into Wasilla for dinner and then to head home. Now it is finally time to relax at home and prepare for the upcoming week. This time change is sure starting to make me sleepy. More Christmas shopping pictures to come....

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas?!?
